Edward Sota started his consulting career in 1995 and has helped families with financial planning, wealth management, life insurance, long-term care and many other areas concerning retirement.

Edward is a partner at Safeguard Investment Advisory Group, LLC. His primary focus as an investment advisor is first getting a complete picture and understanding of his clients’ goals, objectives and things that are most important to them. Second, and equally as important, is helping to create a plan that can realistically achieve those financial/retirement goals and objectives. The final step is to help ensure that his clients have a clear and concise understanding of how their plan works.

Edward has been a contributing writer for the New York Daily News and has been featured in many publications, including Forbes, Bloomberg Businessweek, Money and Investor’s Business Daily.

Edward attributes a great deal of his success to his wife Kathy’s support and understanding during the many years of studying and hard work. He has three wonderful children, Hailey, Alyssa and Christopher, who are three more reasons why he works so hard. When he’s not working, Edward is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He is also an active member of his church and community.

Edward holds California life-only and accident and health licenses (#0C16747), holds a Series 65 license and is registered as an Investment Advisor Representative with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
